Animated slides for church
An animated slide is a title, verse or announcement where the words arrive with a little motion over a moving background. Done gently, it catches the eye once and then lets people read.

Where animation helps
Sermon titles, the opening verse and announcements before the service are the moments when people look up and need a cue that something new has started. A short fade or rise does that well. Song lyrics rarely need it, because the music already carries the change.
Motion people can still read
Let the words arrive in a second or so, then hold them still. Spinning, bouncing and letter-by-letter effects look fun in the editor and slow everyone down on the big screen.
Keep the background moving slowly and the text area calm. Leave each slide up long enough for a slow reader to read it twice.
What you can make today
The library has motion title backgrounds: loops with a calm area kept free for text. Download one in your screen's shape, type your title on top in your presentation software, and use that program's own text animation, such as a fade-in, for the words.
For announcements, a text-safe still or a slow loop works well. Use the same background for the whole run of announcements so they read as one block.
What the Studio will add
The Studio is not open yet. When it is, it will render sermon series titles, verse slides, announcement slides, lower thirds and branded countdowns with gentle text motion built in, in your church's colors, typeface, logo and language. It will also join the whole Sunday set into one video, the Screen Reel.
Questions
- Can I make animated slides in BeforePreach today?
- Not yet. Today you download motion title backgrounds and add the text, and its motion, in your presentation software. The Studio, which will render finished slides, is coming.
- Will animated slides work in our language?
- BeforePreach supports 48 output languages, including Khmer, Arabic, Korean and Chinese, with fonts that fit each script. Studio slides will use them.
- Can we post the slides on social media?
- Yes. The license covers services, livestreams, recordings and social media. For Monday posts drawn from Sunday's sermon, our sister product AfterPreach uses the same account.
- What shapes can I download?
- Any screen shape, including 16:9, 4:3, 21:9, 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16, each rendered natively for that shape rather than stretched.
