Refund policy
When you get your money back for BeforePreach, and how to ask. In short: try it free for 14 days, and if you pay and change your mind within 14 days of your first payment, you get a full refund.
Version 1.0, 14 October 2026.
1 Who refunds you
Payments for BeforePreach are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd., the merchant of record. Paddle sells the subscription to you and takes the payment, so a refund is issued by Paddle, to the card or account you paid with. How long it takes to reach you depends on your bank or card provider.
2 Nobody pays before trying
Every new church gets 14 days of Pro free, once, with no card. Nothing is charged when the trial ends: the church moves to the Free plan unless the owner chooses a paid plan. You only ever pay for a plan you picked yourself.
3 A full refund within 14 days of your first payment
If you ask within 14 days of your church's first payment for BeforePreach, you get that payment back in full. You do not have to give a reason, and it does not matter how much you have downloaded.
A refund ends the subscription it paid for, and the church moves to the Free plan. Files downloaded under the refunded payment are no longer covered by the content license, so stop using them. Files downloaded during the free trial or on the Free plan stay licensed.
4 Your legal right to withdraw
Stated plainly, because it is the law and not a favour. Consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK have a right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days. For digital content, the law lets that right end once delivery starts, if you agreed to that when you bought. Swiss law gives consumers no general right to withdraw from an online purchase.
None of that limits you here. Clause 3 gives everyone, consumer or church, in any country, a full refund within 14 days of a first payment, including after downloads have started.
5 Cancelling, and later payments
The church's owner can cancel at any time from Plan & billing. Nothing more is charged after that. The plan runs to the end of the period already paid for, then the church moves to the Free plan.
Renewals after the first payment, monthly or yearly, are not refunded for the period you are in, because you can cancel before any renewal. Two exceptions: a payment charged in error, and a period in which the service was substantially unavailable. Both are refunded.
6 How to ask
Write to info@afterpreach.com from the address you sign in with, and say which church it is for. The operator asks Paddle to issue the refund. You can also ask Paddle directly at paddle.net, where every Paddle order can be looked up.
This policy is part of the terms of service. Nothing in it limits a right the law gives you.
